Terms & Conditions

Disclaimers

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of The Centre for Health’s website and services, including online consultations, prescribing, and delivery of medicines such as Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (DoxyPEP). By accessing our website, submitting a consultation, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

• We provide secure online consultations reviewed by UK-registered prescribers.
• Where clinically appropriate, a private prescription may be issued for treatment, including Doxycycline PEP.
• Dispensing and delivery are fulfilled by a GPhC-registered pharmacy partner.
• All care is delivered in accordance with UK medical and pharmacy regulations.

You must be at least 18 years old, reside in the United Kingdom, and provide complete and accurate information during the consultation. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if clinical or regulatory standards are not met.

Orders are subject to clinical approval. If suitable, a private prescription will be issued and dispensed by our partner pharmacy. Medications are packaged discreetly and delivered to your chosen UK address.

Delivery timeframes (indicative):
• Same-day delivery within London for orders placed before 10am.
• Next-day delivery across the UK for orders placed before 4pm.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier or operational issues. Once dispatched, responsibility for delivery passes to the courier. We will assist in tracing lost parcels but are not liable for delays beyond our control.

Prices are displayed in GBP and include clinician review, private prescription, and tracked delivery unless otherwise stated. You agree to pay all fees at checkout. We may update prices periodically.

Once a service has commenced or medication has been issued, you are not entitled to a refund. This includes:
• Submission and review of your clinical consultation (service has commenced);
• Issuing of a private prescription;
• Dispensing or dispatch of medication.

Prescription-only medicines are exempt from the usual right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once dispensing has begun. For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of medications.

Refunds are only considered if (a) we cannot fulfil your order due to our operational error; or (b) a dispensing error results in the wrong item being supplied. Any requests must be made in writing within 7 days of receipt. We do not refund for change of mind, courier delays, incomplete/incorrect delivery details, or unsuitability once a prescriber has approved and medication has been dispensed.

You agree to use the consultation honestly and not to misuse the service. We may cancel orders, refuse treatment, or suspend access where there is suspected fraud, duplicate accounts, or clinical unsuitability.

All consultations are reviewed by qualified prescribers who determine suitability for treatment. The decision to prescribe is based on clinical judgement and the information you provide. You are responsible for following the instructions on your pharmacy label and any guidance provided. The Centre for Health is not liable for outcomes arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or omitted information supplied by you.

Common side effects of doxycycline include nausea, sun sensitivity, diarrhoea or thrush. Stop taking the medicine and seek medical advice if you experience severe rash or swelling, difficulty breathing, or yellowing of the skin or eyes. For urgent concerns, contact NHS 111 or dial 999 in an emergency.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss; courier or postal delays after dispatch; or loss arising from failure to follow medical instructions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Your consultation and medical information are handled confidentially and shared only with prescribers and pharmacy partners for legitimate clinical purposes.

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be indicated by updating the ‘Last updated’ date below. Continued use of the website and services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
