Patients

At present The Centre for Health does not undertake coil (also known as copper coil / non-hormonal / IUD / Mirena) insertion and removal. However, an application to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is in progress so we can offer a coil fitting service.

The Centre for Health offers a full range of contraceptive methods (with exception of coils). These services can be offered from the comfort of your own home via telephone consultation or a personalised home visit. The Centre for Health also offers specialist advice on contraception to help their patients make an informed choice as well as contraception symptom/side effect management.

The Centre for Health offers a wide range of healthcare consultancy services tailored to individual needs of a person or organisation

At present The Centre for Health does not offer testing or treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections. However, an application to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is in progress so we can offer a testing and treating service.

During a telephone consultation:

A specialist practitioner will call you at your chosen appointment time from a withheld number. The appointment time will last 30 minutes during which your needs will be met. At the beginning of the appointment, the clinician will inform you about confidentiality and ensure you are in a private space. In order to meet your needs, a medical history will be taken which will include but not limited to when you last had sex, your menstrual cycle and medical conditions (if any).

During a home / hotel visit:

A specialist practitioner will arrive at your home or hotel at your chosen time. If you would like the clinician to wear a face covering, they will happily oblige. Discretion will be ensured. The appointment time will last 30 minutes during which time your needs will be met. At the beginning of the appointment, the clinician will inform you about confidentiality and ensure nobody can overhear the conversation. In order to meet your needs, a medical history will be taken which will include but not limited to when you last had sex, your menstrual cycle and medical conditions (if any)

If the clinician prescribes you contraception, you can choose 1 of the following to receive it:

Self collection: The prescriber will send the prescription to you or your chosen pharmacy

By post: The Centre for Health will send the contraception to you

Courier Delivery: The Centre for Health will collect the medication on your behalf and bring or courier to your home / hotel (additional cost may apply)

 

Although prices for hotel / home visits are based on travel to London zones 1 and 2, consideration will be given to other areas of the United Kingdom (additional costs may apply)
